As this summer is officially ending, so is my summer commission. My dear neighbor had asked early this summer about getting a painting made of her house and to specifically emphasize her garden. As I painted, I had the privilege of watching her flowers change with the season and enhance her lovely home. Hope you love it! Thanks for being such a great neighbor.
Getting some work done while drinking a large cup of tea during one of those Chicago rain storms.
Welcome table decor. We collaborated so well as a team to dress the space for the first Mom's on Mission event at Chicago Tabernacle Church.
Family Night event with a wonderful turnout. The decor turned out so well and everyone pitched in. My favorite: the light canopy. Well done team! I was able to go up on the deck and get this great shot of everyone enjoying each others' fellowship as we started to close out the night. What a great way to start off the fall season.

Creating a banner for the Mom's Group at Church. This is 1 of 3 banners I had the privileged of collaborating with my fellow creative friend in her living room.
Sign up table display!
As a gift to my friend for her graduation from Wheaton College, I painted her a picture of one of the buildings on campus. She presented the painting commission to me with a special request to make sure that the painting included the left tower of the building because that was where she had spent the most time during undergrad. Grateful for such a wonderful friend and all the best to you!
Thread art beginnings... Working on an art piece to get people to come out for the art night at Chicago Tabernacle's Advance Young Adults.
Chalkboard art I designed as the backdrop work for a performance.
A friend of a friend had offered their beautiful home in Greenlake Wisconsin as a retreat space for us. We spent a snowy 3 days in the last week of January planning a years worth of events. After leaving, I was commissioned to paint the house as a token of gratitude for the homeowners' generous gift of hospitality.
